12/20/2010 Record Breakers Chart

Good afternoon.  Less than two weeks left in 2010….wow!  This will be the last chart for 2010, so let me take the time to say thanks for everything over the the last year.   Whether you’re a DJ,  artist, promoter, or simply a fan, your support is much appreciated and needed in order to keep making and breaking new records.   This was our first full year doing the chart in blog format and through social media outlets like Twitter, our reach is bigger than ever.  

To all Record Breaker DJs, the first charts in 2011 will be due on on Wednesday, January 12.  The first chart will be posted on Monday, January 17.

Good afternoon hip hop fans.  Below you’ll find the second to last Rapnetwork Record Breaker’s top 40 in 2010.  This week’s #1 record comes from the indy vet J-Live with his new single “Undivided Attention.”  Also in the top 5 are E Dawg’s “I Dip,” Mic Boogie’s “We Be On Fire,” Mic Stylz’s “Fantasy Team,” and Hip Hop’s Damage Control’s “Constant Battle.”   This week’s #1 add goes to Illvibe Collective with their single “Authentic Raw” featuring Supastition & Reef The Lost Cauze.  Their long overdue album is dropping in 2011 on Soulspazm Records.  I’m excited for that one!  Til next week…peace!

Good afternoon from from RNRB central.  Below you’ll find the latest top 40 and top adds from the Record Breaker DJs.  You can tell we’re headed in to the holiday season by the lack of adds, but that’s OK.  We have enough heat in the top 40 to carry us through to January.  This week’s #1 comes from VA representer  Nottz with his single “Blast That” featuring Black Milk.  If you haven’t bought Nottz’s album You Need This Music, you are definitely sleeping.  One of the best albums of the year.   Rounding out the top 5 are singles from Trademark Da Skydiver,  Distant Relatives feat. The Grouch & Eligh, E Dawg, and Mac Wayne feat. Alex Duncan.  This week’s #1 add is “U Ain’t The One” from YSL.
